OUR PROJECT

Wine is our passion and with time it has become our profession

  • Vino castelli romani
  • azienda vitivinicola albano
A project born out of strong passions: Paolo, Cinzia and...our children. Armed with our passion and knowledge, we have returned to our roots and are now taking care of the family business. Our knowlege, enriched by the experiences made in the vineyards and wines of Piemonte, Alto Adige, Tuscany and Sicily, have taken us back home, to the region and sceneries which have also become the inspiring idea of our logo: outline of the dei Castelli Romani. Our logo which perfectly represents the love we have for our land and our desire to add value to it.

Our business is a small reality of 5 hectares subdivied in three separate nearby plots of land in the middle of a wine region located between the city of Rome and Castel Gandolfo. We grow autochthonous grapes: Malvasia del Lazio, Malvasia di Candia e Trebbiano Toscano which on these light sandy soils of the ancient volcanic region of Lazio are able to give their best flavours. These traditional vineyards, which have been run by our family for decates, are now left to our valued added wine making experiece that has come from the outside.

OUR WINES

Sbronzo e Pastello, our wines today and our future

We have placed all efforts in our white Sbronzo e red Pastello on which bottles you will see labels drawn by our children. The names of our wines are a result of these drawings, as no other label could be more represenatative of the future than one drawn by them! Two stylized stars have inspired us on the ironic name of SBRONZO, our white IGP. Whereas for the intesity and beauty of its pastel colours, the name PASTELLO our red IGP.
